Lily the grandparent thief:

If our daughter has a super power, it is the ability to smell and seek out grandparents. Upon entering a room she can find and befriend anyone's grandparents--or those who wish to be grandparents. Over the holiday, while Nathan was busy playing with toys, Lily was busy playing with his grandparents...from both sides.

I Want Chocolate!

Lily: I want some chocolate!
Daddy: let me get this straight. You think by demanding something it will appear from thin air?
Lily: I want some chocolate!!
Daddy: You are as likely to receive a troop of flying penguins as you are chocolate.
Lily: I want a troop of flying penguins!!!
Daddy: did you get them?
Lily: yes. See them? They are right there by the light.
Daddy: if you can imagine a troop of flying penguins, you can imagine yourself some chocolate. Here you go. (hands her imaginary chocolate)
Lily: thank you! (pops it in her mouth) Yum!
