Marking in a Library book...

For this morning's fieldtrip, Noni Andrew, Cookie, Lily and I went to the Friends of the Library Book Fair. Of course we all walked away with bags of books. On reviewing our purchases, Noni decided one of her books just wouldn't do and needed a little correction...

Gleefully, she giggles and says, " I'm writing in a library book. I always wanted to do that!"

Bag of books: $11.75
Watching your mother deface a library book: priceless!

Rollin', Rollin', Rollin'...

...keep those wagons rollin',
Keep 'em rollin' to Story Time.

On Top of my Noni...

(sung in Jarrod's warbling singing voice to the tune of "on top of Spaghetti")

On top of my Noni,
I watch Sesame Street.
A more comfortable seat,
You may never meet...

Zoo!!

This morning we got to ride the train at the zoo!!! (because Noni saw Lily and Nathan's hopeful little faces).

And we got to pick which car to ride in--Nathan picked the caboose, which pleased Noni as that's her favorite train car.

We also got to see LOTS of animals...

...and feed the giraffes...and then we listened to Jingle Bells (Nathan's request) all the way home.

Shopping with Noni and Mommy

Yesterday, Lily got to eat lunch at Hickory Street Cafe and have tea with a bear!

Lily also got to test puppy pillows at Sam's Club with Mommy.

And then Lily got to nap under the cart while Mommy and Noni shopped. At least five people stopped us to express their wishes to be small enough to be pushed, stretched out full length under the cart while their companions bought stuff.

Definitely a great day!

Lily Visits ACU

Today we went to ACU to get something Daddy left at work. While there, we went on a tour of the new Learning Studio. Lily decided she was interested in the Macs in the Lab.

Later, we visited Daddy's work and Lily decided she wanted to try working the phones.
